Private Residence in Flourtown, PA on Philadelphia Cricket Club Golf Course

A project that started as an idea of partial repair turned into a full replacement based on an evaluation. The entire back was riddled with golf ball holes, several flashing issues, and fastener deterioration.

The challenge of this install was to make a new slate roof look like it’s always been there as the client loved the old slate. We used “bankstain” slate in a special three color blend so that some of the slates would appear to be already weathered even though the slate is new. We matched the old staggered butt pattern but only graduated the tower per request of client to make it stand out. The change to green hues compliments the house to a warmer setting.
