NSA Conference Recap – Ithaca, NY

The National Slate Association Conference was held in Ithaca, NY from 9/28/17-9/30/17. Over 60 people from the industry attended to see instructional presentations, a walking tour of Cornell University, and networked on wine and pub crawl tours.  This post will highlight the events.

9/28/17 – Registration / Lunch / Cornell University Walking Tour

Thursday began the conference with people arriving and registering. The main accommodations were provided by the Statler Hotel on the Cornell University Campus. This was where a beautiful lunch awaited the conference attendees before going on with a walking tour of Cornell University. The day’s events concluded with cocktail reception hosted by Alpine SnowGuards.

9/29/17 – Presentations, Downtown Ithaca Historical Slate & Architecture Walking Tour, & Pub Crawl

The day opened up with a breakfast from 7am-8am and a welcome meeting held by John Chan, NSA President. At 9am, the presentations were set to go. You can click on the right image to bring up a full description.
