The International Federation of Roofing Trade is created to study common professional problems and derive knowledge from individual members or the organization as a whole. They exchange documentation and issue statements on common issues. Also, workshops are conducted and they organize a professional competition for young roofers. This is the world’s leading advocacy for the roofing trade.
IFD Roofing Awards
This year’s IFD Congress and Award was held in Bolzano, Italy on October 11th-14th, 2023. The award categories include Facade, Flat Roof, Metal Roof, and Steep Slope Roof. 2 companies from the USA, Durable Slate and Renaissance Roofing , submitted projects for consideration. The IFD awarded Renaissance Roofing 1st place for the metal roofing category with the Martin County Courthouse and Durable Slate 3rd place for the State of Maryland Capitol building in the Steep Sloped Roof category. and This is a tremendous achievement and the NSA is excited to share pictures from the award ceremony. It’s a great honor to the country as a whole to be recognized as leaders in roofing excellence.
